 La immortalitat de l'amor de Dalí i Gala

Dalí and Gala's eternal love

Cadaqués sempre em retorna a les coses senzilles: sentir l'olor de mar, caminar per les cales de pedres i les roques, buscar caragols a la platja, esfonsar el cap sota l'aigua i nedar entre els peixos, i dormir amb les ones. Aquest cop vaig visitar la Casa-Museu Dalí a Portlligat, la visita és molt recomanable, Dalí mai deixa de sorprendre't, tant artísticament com personalment, però el servei de guies té moooolt a millorar! Arrel de la visita al museu vaig fer aquesta composició fotográfica que representa l'amor profund que sentien Gala i Dalí l'un per l'altre, l'obsessió comú per la immortalitat on els elements orgànics hi són sempre presents i que a la vegada definien el carácter del personatge com l'ús habitual del bastó o bé la intervenció en la creació d'una obra pictórica d'un eriçó de mar com artista. Després de la mort de Gala, Dalí va tancar la casa i no hi va tornar més.

Cadaqués always brings me back to small things: the smell of the sea, walking in the stone coves and the rocks, looking for snails in the beach, putting my head under the water and swim with the fish, and sleeping with the waves. This time I visited the House of Salvador Dalí in Portlligat, I strongly recommend it, Dalí always amazes me, as an artist and as a person, but the guide service has a lot be improved! After the visit to the house, I made this picture composition that represents the deep love that felt Gala and Dalí for each other, the shared obsession for immortality where organic elements are always a constant feature and that at the same time defined the personality of the character such as the regular use of walking sticks or the intervention of a sea urchin in the creation of a pictorial artwork being the artist. After Gala died, Dalí closed the house and never came back.
